CLOCK-Collective Learning Open Curriculum Kit-is a CPD toolkit to validate & certificate Peer2Peer Learning of higher level skills anywhere!
Most adults acquire their higher level skills in the workplace through developing their professional practice and engaging in enterprise. They learn and apply other valuable higher level skills gained from hobbies, leisure pursuits, family responsibilities or by contributing within their local communities.
CLOCK (Collective Learning Open Curriculum Kit) enables the individuals in a workforce to map, achieve and gain validation for their higher level progression supported by expert peers in their sector and receive certification from a public authority with global reach.
Candidates for Professional Development Awards of 60-120 credits at EQF Levels 4-7 are mentored and reviewed through an entirely non-formal process that is delivered and supported by their dynamic and vibrant community of practice using a transparent continuing professional development (CPD) framework that bench-marks international employer/professional association requirements and articulates and bridges to national and international credit and qualifications frameworks.
CLOCK supports its candidates to validate and certificate their transferable skills as well as their more specific sector skills in order to provide them with a broader base for employment or enterprise within their current sector, across their current industry or to enter other industries at the appropriate level.
CLOCK can provide individuals who apply their higher level skills everyday at work and in other non-formal activities, with the opportunity of making their skills and progression more visible to themselves, their communities and peers as well as demonstrating their potential for further development opportunities without needing to engage with formal or non-relevant provision.
CLOCK is currently working with employers and practitioners in the Creative and Cultural Industries across Europe to mentor and review candidates for 2 sets of Professional Development Awards in practice-based learning for the Creative and Cultural Industries. These 2 CPD pathways are in Artistic Practice/Cultural Learning and Creative Entrepreneurship/Developing and Supporting Creative Enterprise.
